Photo kasumi15.jpg shows a position which is closer to my ideal. Her bottom is still lower than I would prefer (see comments on sulcus in A1.rtf) but with two armchairs back-to-back the recipient now has full-body support. None of her energy is being diverted into maintaining the position. She is able to focus her thoughts on the Caning.
Her muscles are reasonably relaxed, giving her buttocks more opportunity to absorb the energy of the Caning. In this position, the Cane descends in almost a vertical plane, leading to less-severe strokes than if swung horizontally. Also, with a bit of dexterity that avoids resorting to backhand, it allows strokes to be delivered from each side of the recipient, so that both buttocks suffer equally. The big disadvantage of this position is that it is highly sensitive to height. Buttocks too low, and the giver will have a tendency to bend their knees to compensate when they notice that the buttock furthest away is taking most of the impact. Nasty wrap-around marks are characteristic of this mal-positioning. And if the buttocks are too high the Cane will impact mostly on the nearest buttock, perhaps failing altogether to contact the far buttock. But the big advantage of this position is that the recipient can maintain it for long periods of time both before and after the Caning. Subdividing a Caning into batches, delivered at appropriate intervals, can have a marvellous effect. Especially if the recipient dozes-off between them. There really is nothing quite like waking-up in an erotic haze, and suddenly remembering where you are, and what is still to happen! Eric Carwardine, in Perth, Western Australia |
